Thank you for popping in, and as I felt it would be nice to know what you think about this web site, I would be pleased if you left your comments in this public guest book so we can share your thoughts with other visitors. Users or my comments:
CommentsYour web-site has been invaluable in my research on the gold rush and its affect on the surrounding area. It will greatly enhance my project!
CommentsHiho, stumbled across your site after googling for some inspiration on battery trammers. Really nice virtual work and models, worth to become realitiy. Considering that? Don't say: No place, no time, no money. This case you should look at the micro layout design gallery at www.carendt.com or the Gnatterbox (www.gn15.info) you possibly already know. Thanks a lot for the nice pics. Alex, down in the Rhine valley
CommentsHi Dave, and Mike, Thank you both so much! And Mike, thank you for so many nice words - have a feel though you mixed me up with Prowler (Todd) as I haven't made my self any Rio Grande models - I'm yet to get to the "build a train stage" LOL The South Park system sounds like a nice area to also model - and yes, Trainz is a great hobby, or life style depending on how much focus it gets. LOL I like the way Trainz allows one to recreate parts of history, even "twist " it a little, and how it allows us the modelers to "get it all" and not just a much scaled down version. Have fun with your model of the D.S.P&P., whether in 2004 or 2006 - personally I stick with 2004 as I get to do what I want in there. Also, enjoy the Denver area, I envy you and wish I could join people in the Colorado adventure. :-) Best wishes Linda
CommentsI'd like to take a few moments to thank you for all the wonderfull creations you have made for "Trainz"! Have been working on the D.S.P.& P. project in 2004, but i will be going to 2006 here shortly...I primarily model the C & S system as it was in the 20's, however, there is a definate lack of period steam power, but Ben Niel did come up with a South Park mogul and your Rio Grande equipment has certainl been put to good use for 1880's era....especially in the Buena Vista area as both roads had joint trackage agreement from there to Leadville, and yes, am a bit of history buff on the South Park system having perhaps the most complete library attainable, as some of my books have been out of print for years! Anyway, I live here in the Denver area and spend most of my weekends walking abandoned right of way, taking pictures of mills, mines and structures in the South Park and Alpine pass areas. If there is anything I can assist you with, please don't hesitate to ask me. I would feel that in some small way it would be giving back to the "Trainz" community for all those fabulous downloads! Ain't this a GREAT HOBBY!!! sincerely yours, Mike aka "narrowminded"
CommentsI'm Blown away. So much info and work from so far away.
CommentsHi Chuck, Thank you for such kind words, and I'm glad the website gave you a nice time. Sorry for not being very updated though, it's hard to find time to all the things one wants to do. You been around on narrow gauge sites more then me, hope you get to visit Colorado one day as that is a lovely state/place to be, even if it is getting a little crowded some places for my taste. :-) Best wishes, Linda
CommentsLinda,Followed your link on the forum to your Gossen Island History, And then to your web page and have spent the past hour totally fascinated by all of the information you have gathered. As a fellow Trainzer, and narrow gauge buff, and a big fan of yours ( have all of your creations ), I was happy to learn that you had the oppertunity to visit Colorado and enjoyed your writing about your experiences.I have visited most of the ng roads on the East coast and in Oregon and Washington State. Regretably I have not visited the Colorado rr's. Your web site , like your virtual creations , outstanding! Will be stopping back from time to time for some interesting reading.
CommentsHi all, Sorry for not keeping up to date, seems like the spammers have found me again... I've been busy with my life, but haven't totally forgotten my dear Cripple Creek, just have to keep it a low priority. :-( Linda
CommentsI enjoyed your website. I model the F&CC and other Cripple Creek Area Railroads in HO scale HON3), and was following a Google search when I came across your site. Right now I am looking for decent photos of the Cripple Creek railroad cars so that I can make my own decals. Thanks for your effort Paul Packman pfpackamn@yahoo.com
CommentsHi people, Thanks for the entries, but for the record, personally I don't visit, or use any gambling sites, and is sort of not sure if I like links to them in my site or not. So far, I haven't done any cleaning, as it don't seem to bad - and then it is the fact it is Christmas, and we all should be nice to each other. :-) Happy Christmas everybody - hopefully next year will be a good one for all! Best wishes Linda
CommentsHi all, Thanks for all the nice words, and feedback for those of you from ebay - I try my best. :-) Sorry for the sporadic updates and very slow Trainz based work. All the best wishes to all, especially this time of the year. Linda
CommentsGreat site, a very good style, you should be a writer. Stephanie from http://www.lipstick.ws/
CommentsI love the way you write, I always enjoy it. Trinity - http://on-line-poker-game.dobiti.com/
CommentsHi! Linda, Your Website is great! Good Job! A pleasure to read!
CommentsNice web site. Hope that booklet/snap shots item your got from me on ebay was a good item for you and thanks again. Michael
CommentsEvery page on your site is a pleasant to read, don't stop writing. ------------------------------ Jessica - http://casino-on-line-free.mind4u.com/
CommentsThanks for all the work that you, Mark and Todd have put together...among many others, for "Trainz". I have been working on the Colorado and Southern narrow guage line here in Colorado, most of it near completion and soon to submit to Trainz "routes". Although at present, I do not have specific equipment for the C&S, Todds' Rio Grande stuff works just fine for now. The Walsh House is great, and also the Boarding house among many others you have created. Again..many thanks!!!
CommentsHi, Linda. I'm the guy that drew the Mancha Little Trammer in the Gazette magazine. I have a drawing of a very interesting mine locomotive that you might like to see. It happened to be developed right in Cripple Creek and one of them is there at the Molly Kathlene Mine, still running. I'd email it to you but for some reason I can't connect through your website. My email address is jtstolle@comcast.net Email me if you're interested in the drawing. Tim Stolle
CommentsHi Noel, Once more, I must say a big Thanks!! This time, you got the honor so to speak. LOL Cool to see another "Trainzer" in here, and glad you like the website. Lot of hard work to keep it up to date in between so many other things in life, but I try my best. I'm sure you will end up loving the NG stuff before you even realize it, there is just something with those narrow strips of steel twisting and turning around in the scenery to get somewhere. LOL I do have lot of plans (in my head) for way more mines and structures, but it seems like things take a long time for the moment due to other stuff in life. But, thanks for the nice feedback people - things like that help bring joy in it too, to see that I'm not alone out there so to speak. LOL Best wishes to you all, Linda
CommentsHi Russell, Wow, thank you! You know, I'm just a mere mortal my self, you can see that in how I have neglected this site of mine here. :-( But reading nice comments like yours make me wanna get back to Cripple Creek and modeling again. <BG> Thanks people, Linda
CommentsHi Jim & Sue, Thank you for that lovely email, and your right, garbage goes out with the trash and is soon forgotten. LOL All the best Linda
CommentsHi Linda, I'm a 'Trainzer', & have marvelled at your beautiful recreations on the DLS, since seeing your guest house there. Just started working my way through your very good & entertaining friendly website. But wanted to just say how nice it is; to find your website is even better than I knew it would be!. I'm not (as yet anyway) a fan of NG stuff, but the level of realism & attention to detail you put into those bridges etc , is astounding!. And those mine building too. Thank you for all of the long hard work you've put into these various items. cheers, Noel

CommentsLove the sight, you have a tenacity for detail that some of us mere mortals cannot match ;-) Well done
CommentsNice site, thanks for sharing. I've sent you an email sharing our trip to Cripple Creek in 1968 It was very different then, and we think, much nicer. We are long time Colorado Midland fans and of course, the CS&CCD and the Midland Terminal too. Linda-don't be discouraged by idiots posting garbage on your site, it happens to all of us.<G>
CommentsHi Mitchell, Thanks for stopping by. I would also have loved to have a house in Cripple Creek area, and coming from Norway I don't think the winter is that awful. :-) Linda
CommentsHave been to Cripple Creek every summer since 2000. Was taking my son on a roadtrip to celebrate his highschool graduation. The train whistle welcomes me every time I go back. The history of the place just facinates me. And to realize the town almost died before legal gambling came about. Would love to have a summer house there for retirement. The winters are probably a little too harsh for my taste
Commentslawson, I don't know. Care to say/explain more what you mean? :-) Linda
Commentswhat are the rates for the elapsed time between july5-agust1
CommentsHmm, Seems like someone want to have a war here... :-( Please, don't post links not related to the topics off this webpage. Thanks Linda
CommentsHi, Another delete not belonging in here - maybe I should just remove this whole "guestbook"... Naah, I keep it, it's so cool to have one place on my own site where I can go in where ever I are in the world and just type away a few words... :-) No one reads it I guess, but that is probably due to me not keeping my webpage up to date I'm sure. :-) Well, it will take even longer before next update as we leave for Norway early next week, not sure when we are back as we have lot of stuff to take care off. So, I just try to look after this part, and delete all offending post that seams to show up once in awhile (links to site I don't want to have in here). All the best Linda
CommentsHmm,
seams like there are some people out there don't liking my page, misusing this
small effort in trying to have some sort of feedback by posting all this stupid
links that have been in here for some times now. All the best from me, Linda Irene Tingvik
CommentsHi, Wow, thanks for the comments - good for my ego. :-)
CommentsI think that you are putting together a wonderful historical guide of the events of a by-gone day, and documenting the area in a way that no one else has ever achieved. Keep up the good work. John Secretary of the Denver South Park & Pacific RR Historical Society
CommentsGood Start
Commentsvery informative & admirable site :) And your modeling is unreal ;D keep up the good work.

CommentsWell, after spending some time playing with it, and redoing it, I seam to be more where I want, I ended up taking out the time as it seamed to be the time at the server - and therefore not that useful...
CommentsHmm, seams like Frontpage had some settings hidden, I wonder if changing those gives me more control like I want... :-) Let me test. Oh, BTW, thank you so much for some nice comments, I'm glad there are someone out there beside me looking at this page of mine. ;-)
Commentsmost throughly enjoyable website I have seen in a long time i have visited it two days in a row
CommentsDon't like this guestbook thing, think I go out one day and look for something I can control better. :-) As in, 24hour clock and not this AM/PM thingy and with proper date and not month/day/year thing as now... It should be day/month/year - right? ;-)
CommentsGreat Job Linda. You have a ton of information here and as usual, your modeling is fantastic!
CommentsI need to test this thing, so I will be the first to say to my self that Linda, I think you are onto something good here... ;-)
