Owned by the Monument Gold Mining Company, in 1900.
This Mine was at
least big enough to be looked at and written about in the 1906 Geology
of the Cripple Creek District book I have, so I have some info about it at
least.
For now, check under Detailed info to see what
the 1906 book say about this mine.
I didn't find any
Sanborn Maps of this mine, not that strange I think as I believe this was
a rather small mine even if it has a mention in the 1906 geology book. :-)
I haven't gone
through my collection yet to see if I find any pictures, but I know I have
some of the general area this was located at. I also noticed on my 1902
map that this mine was sort of located at the tail end of a spur of the
Midland Terminal mainline below the mighty Portland Mine, so it might have
had some sort of a rail connection.
