      General notes:
Map is interesting for various reason. It is part of several claims under one Survey Number, and this particular claim shows a blue line marking a Gulch, with a Road alongside it, and a second Road is shown further east, up the hill, where there is also drawn in a Structure of some kind of sort not marked, ending at a neighbor claim named Anaconda, or Rustler - which seems to have got some piece of that ground.
graphic for visual presentation of text The Superior claim has, incidentally, also been listed to be part the mine known as Anaconda Mine. But for my 1902 topographic map however this claim name is also listed as a separate mine, could be a leaser, as claim is already on the claim map dated 1892 listed as Anaconda property.
graphic for visual presentation of text The Discovery Shaft is located way east on this partly angled claim, in fact it is on the before mention road in the east, about 1/7 west of the east border, and that is all I am able to find on this particular map. The Low Line grade would cross the claim a little west of the discovery shaft, but map is way to early for that to show up.
