      Why this is named Plymouth Rock No. 1 on the USGS map I do not know. To me, it makes more sense to call ID-82 for Plymouth Rock No. 2 instead of Plymouth Rock No. 1 as the map call it, based on comparing a claim overview map I have with railroads marked out making it possible to loosely fit it against the USGS map I base my list and numbering on.
      graphic for visual presentation of text This ID number is almost at border of Plymouth No. 1, but the Plat Map of the No. 1 puts a Shaft House further Southeast from the number so I assume someone started a new Shaft on the Plymouth Rock No. 2 claim and when the map was made that I based my numbering on, they also was confused due to the closeness and large number of names and criss-crossing...
