Amalgamated.—This company was organized two years ago to merge the interests of the Juinata, Transvaal, Big BallFour and New Century companies. Two strikes are reported to have been made by lessees on the company's ground within the past few weeks.
On Waterloo, Hill Adams & Company has uncovered a vein two feet in width at a depth of 200 feet. This vein is said to contain ore running from three to five ounces to the ton.
On the Little DiamondDimond claim, located on Battle Mountain, Healey & Company are said to have uncovered an ore shoot varying from eighteen to thirty inches in width and containing considerable free gold.
