        General notes:
This mine is said to be on a claim at same name, located on the Saddle between Raven and Guyot Hill, but the only Wedge claim I been able to find in that area is down near the Arequa Gulch Townsite (across southern part of the St. John Bostwick claim), not up on the hill…
graphic for visual presentation of text But, small indications might lead to the Tecumseh claim as it appears by same last name a guy named at least John Carr had changed his lease from Tecumseh where he had a strike and then got an injunction from the Ophir claim on much of the same ground, to the Golden Wedge where he also had a strike, reported in Morning Times in February 9, 1899. And same paper, back in January 22, 1899 talks about a John Carr being in charge of a mine named Wedge, on a claim same name, located on the Saddle between Raven and Guyot hill striking - maybe somehow the names has changed, been confused, some other reason?
graphic for visual presentation of text Or maybe it is the southern part of the Golden Wedge claim they talk about all along, and it is just been known as the Wedge due to some unknown reasons never written about in any source I been able to find? Not the first time I seen different names linked to same claim..
