      There where never a claim with this name, instead this company owned a part of ground that several claims claimed. According to the 1900 Hills Manual about the Red Umbrella (page 402) this is the portion of the Bertha B. claim and Little Frank S. claim that crossed eachother creating a conflict ground. Patented to the Red Umbrella Mining Co, and containing 2 acres in Section 20 on Raven hill.
