General notes:
This ID 216 mark is named Findley on the 1903ish USGS topomap Map Legend, a legend which appears on the left side of the map BTW. I however have corrected that name as it is an erroneous name for any Shafts that is a possible logical match to that printed ID number location!

-> Reasoning is that the Shaft above the digit 6-part of the ID-216 is located at northeast end of the Mountain Beaty Lode claim, and the Shaft below the 21-part of the printed number is located on the Lucky Guss Lode claim.

Being printed where the ID is, I decided to link that number to the Shaft north of the number, as that Shaft is also found on the 1906ish USGS Principal Underground Workings map where it is being named Mt. Beaty, whereas I call it Mount Beauty Shaft northeast, and the ID-217 will be renamed Findley as that number is more logical to that mine!

-> This ID-216 Shaft appears on some images, before a large dump was filling in the area from the Findley; I seen it appear with a Gallows/Head-Frame, and in other images only as a dump (like a 1909 issued Postcard view by H. & H. Studio), before it is covered by the larger Findley fill in later years.

I cannot live with the erroneous USGS naming on the topomap, as it places a well-known mine, as the Findley is, at the wrong location! Hence, I changed this and will also rename the ID-217 to become the Findley and not the name the topomap legend gave it! After all, it is my copy of the map, shared on my website, I can put the ID pin wherever I want and name it accordingly! If you disagree, prove me wrong with some map(s) please. :-)
