Said to be the Main shaft as per a 1903 Portland Mine Map I have, could possible also be the one known as Frankenberg Shaft, not sure. What I do know is that it is located on the Ocean View claim, just along the sideline of the Modak claim, and is along the Short Line spur down to Ajax/Portland No. 2 and below the Golden Circle spur towards the Portland Battle Mtn Mill area.
