          General notes:
Very hard to find much info about this mill, but a 1896 map from a booklet called "The Quarterly Sentinel vol 1" gave the location to be where Arequa Gulch meets the Cripple creek.
graphic for visual presentation of textA 1894 book called "The Story of Cripple Creek up to date" says that M. Crawford, the inventor of the Crawford mill, has a 20-ton mill for cyanide-electro-amalgamation treatment near Cripple Creek - claiming that excellent results will shortly be shown...
graphic for visual presentation of text18 May 1895 in Enginnering & Mining Journal there is many mills mention, including one called Pioneer, aka old Daniel mill, erected in November 1891 as a stamp mill, then sold in January 1894 to a Colorado Springs company who worked/attempted to work the Crawford mill & process for 4 months, which now has once more been sold and converted back into a stamp mill with 10 stamps only. Could be the same mill?
graphic for visual presentation of textA table over mills in the area in a July 1895 newspaper say this is a electro cyanide process mill.
