Mary McKinney Property Doing Good
Frank F. Castello, president of the Mary McKinney, states that the net income to the company from ore shipped by lessees from July to November 30, amounted to $16,255.73. They shipped during this period 6103 tons with a gross bullion value of $131,026.01, receiving $67,974.06.

Twelve sets of lessees are working on the outlying blocks of the estate in addition to the lease on the main McKinney shaft held by the Western Investment Co. The leasing policy will be maintained until the completion of the deep drainage tunnel.

Mary Mckinney Shaft Soon to Work Again as Water is Receding
Water is receding in the Mary McKinney shaft at the rate of 4½ ins. a day. There yet remains about 7 ft. on the station at the 8th level, which is 1300 ft. below the 7th. When the level referred to is reached, the main ore body, which is 500 ft. in length in one place and 1000 ft. in another, will be opened up.

Once stoping is commenced on the 8th level it will be possible to continue shipping for 2 years.
