This is yet another of those early mine operations with a small head frame put in the open and a hoist house almost built into the frame work but still not covering the shaft from the elements. Raven Hill is seen in left background, while several people pose at the head frame in the foreground.M.K. & T. Mine on Squaw Mountain.

      General notes:
Plat Map of 2-lodes with a combined acreage of 18.582 Acres on the Amended Plat Map, whereas they started out as 18.617 Acres on the original Plat Map. The map them self is not that interesting, more boring, but, it do show some workings.
graphic for visual presentation of text The Discovery Shaft is about 1/3 north of the south border, with a second Shaft east of it, and a third Shaft southeast of the discovery shaft. A Cut appears just east of those two last mentions shafts. Down in the common ground with the May B. claim, there appears a Cut going in easterly direction, and further southwest of that there is second Cut, and a third Cut starts just west outside of the M.K. & T. claims borders with two Tunnels spreading out in a V-liked shaped, direction east into the M. K. & T. claims borders. There is also a Trench between those two last mentions cuts, direction south-north. Up in the northern part, about 17/24 north from the south border, there is a Tunnel, heading in southeastern direction. No changes on the Amended map for this claim.
