Rexall Finding at 900 Feet
A new cross vein for the Rexall Gold M. Co. has been encountered at the 900-ft. level of the Spicer shaft by cross-cut carried northwest from the shaft at a point below the junction of Third street and Victor avenue in Victor.
graphic for visual presentation of text The vein is about 3 ft. 6 in. between walls, and a mine sample taken clear across the vein gave pay values, while better than a foot of the ore on the hanging wall runs about $30 a ton.
graphic for visual presentation of text The vein carries a northwesterly course, and heads straight towards the old shaft, sunk in the early days of the camp, at a point where the Baltimore hotel stands.
