      General notes:
This claim map is partly overlapping Anchor No.2, boring map but has a Shaft House marked at the Discovery shaft. It appears through images at DPL that the Shaft House known from a couple of H.S. Poley views is just below the later better known Moon-Anchor mine structures. But, the Moon-Anchor is farther west then where this shaft house is shown, so this cannot be the one from the H.S. Poley views, possible it is an early Anchor-Leland connection?
graphic for visual presentation of text This claim is a complicated one as it got divided among at least two good known mines - the Moon-Anchor and the Anchoria-Leland...
graphic for visual presentation of text In June 1900 it was written in Hills Manual that Anchoria-Leland Mining and Milling Co. owns Anchor lode—7901, patented. Part of Anchor are leased, and mostly only surface prospecting has been done.
