Bill Nye Reports Important Strike
Copper Mountain—A strike of considerable importance has been reported from the Bill Nye claim on Copper mountain. While it is a little too early to tell what it will amount to, it has had the effect of stimulating prospecting in that vicinity.
It will be remembered that a number of years ago a considerable amount of ore was shipped from the Fluorine property which adjoins the Bill Nye claim.

Cripple Creek.—The Metallic Gold Mining company, operating on the Bill Nye claim on Copper mountain, is sinking a winze on 2 feet of ore at a depth of 186 feet and about 100 feet northwest of the shaft. Ore is being saved and regular shipments are going to the mill. The ore now being mined is of an ounce and one-half grade.
