Damon Workings
Those who are interested in Damon stock will be glad to learn that a receiver's receipt has just been obtained for the well known Diamond claim belonging to that company, the property, on which good values have been found.

Steps are being taken to clear up the other parts of the property at the earliest possible date. There is still a little litigation involving a small part of the ends of two claims, but it is not of a serious nature and will probably be settled at an early date and in a satisfactory manner.

It is the intention of the Damon people to get their property patented and out of the way of any possible litigation as soon as possible and there will probably be no difficulty as the only conflict of any kind is in the small portion previously mentioned.

Damon Gold Mining Co. Inquiry
Damon Mine.

4697. (Belvidere, Ill.) Will you give me information regarding the merits of the Damon gold mine of Cripple Creek? Do you consider it to be a worthy investment and prospect for great price?

Ans.: The Damon Gold Mining Company, 2,000,000 shares, owns about 20 acres on Bull Hill, and is also a shipper. Stock quoted on January 19 at 29¼ to 29⅝ cents.

It is regarded in Colorado as meritorious stocks, and is being purchased at current prices by local parties personally familiar with the Cripple Creek district. With the expected advance along the whole line of Cripple Creek stocks following any calming down of financial disturbance at the eastern and European money centres, the stocks will advance also, irrespective of any special impetus from the discovery of new rich ore bodies.

Damon Gold Mining Co. Inquiry
Cripple Creek Stocks.
5795. (Barton Landing, Vt.) Please report on the Cripple Creek gold stocks of the Damon Gold Mining Co., Warren Woods, president.
Ans.: The Damon Gold Mining Co. is still another enterprise of the Woods Company. Its capital is $2,000,000 and it has $7,429 cash in the treasury. Its properties comprise the Diamond, Patti Rosa, Maud S. and Hardwood on Blue HillBull Hill.
About $50,000 has been expended and all of the claims opened well near the surface, but there have been some disappointments since. The company must now be considered an undetermined proposition, but with a fair outlook.
