Col. Jas. H. Myers sold for G. L. Taylor, the Taylor tunnel, the Little George, the Fox and the Maritose mining claims on Oil creek, three miles north of Gillett, to the Hon. F. B. Tiffany of Omaha and Col. J. H. Haverly for $7,500. This property is opened by a tunnel and shows five feet of ore that assays from $10 to $30 a ton. The purchasers have let a contract to drive a tunnel 100 feet and build an ore house. They expect to commence shipping at once.
