Atlanta Shaft to Be Sunk to 250 Feet The contract for sinking the Atlanta shaft to a depth of 250 feet will be completed this week when levels will be started before the work of sinking is resumed. Everything taken from the shaft is being saved for shipment, but so far no ore has been sent out.
