      General notes:
Plat claim map holds 3-lodes, but they will be split into two groups for some reason. The original Plat Map gives a size of 13.857 Acres in Feb. 3, 1894 and reduces to 10.013 Acres on the Amended Plat Map in Nov. 26, 1898.
graphic for visual presentation of text The south most claim, Sadie Bell, will be part of the Cresson Mine while the Gold Sovereign & J. G. Blaine claims is to be grouped together as the Gold Sovereign Mine, wonder what that story is, why the separation.
graphic for visual presentation of text Either way, this claim, J. G. Blaine, is on the original Plat Map already a two-piece ground, where the Discovery Shaft, marked with a Drift, is located in the southern part, about 1/7 north of the southern short edge-line. North part has no developments marked out.
graphic for visual presentation of text On the Amended Plat Map this claim has been lost some ground in the south part, while the north end has seen the short edge-line be moved 217.5 feet S.W., shorten the claim for some reason, naming this part Tract A. Nothing else seems to have changed on the two maps of this claim.
