Colorado Springs, Nov. 16.—The Exposition Mines and Leasing Company, composed of St. Louis and local mine operators, working three successful leases on the Midway, Gold Sovereign and Burns, of the Acacia Company, has made a strike within the last 24 hours on the Midway claim on Bull Hill.

Midway Lessees Stafford Brothers Find High Grade at 240 Feet
Cripple Creek.—S. A. Stafford & Bro., leasing on the Midway claim of the United Mines Company at Altman, have made quite a strike at a depth of 240 ft., a 4-ft. ore body being opened 60 ft. from the shaft. The material gives 3 ozs. all the way across and carries a 2-in. seam of talc which assays up to $300 in gold.
