      General notes:
Plat Map is interesting in the sense that is shows how the Discovery Shaft is not very used, there is a second Shaft with a Shaft House further southwest, but the most cool is the fact the claim is filled with houses of the town of Cripple Creek...
graphic for visual presentation of text South edge is along Golden Ave., North edge is into Galena Ave., with Pikes Peak Ave. about middle up. Claim cross into North A Street in southwest and further east is the Florissant Street, but no contact to that one, claim seems to be inside a placer claim named Damon at MS. No. 9295.
graphic for visual presentation of text There are no traces of any mining on Sanborn Fire Insurance Map from 1908 Sheet 3) or from 1900, so I guess it was a short lived mining adventure.
