      While the Plat Map shows a full sized claim in terms of acreage stated and coloring, it also shows that there has been tried to gray out large parts of the claim!
      graphic for visual presentation of text From Hills Official 1900 Manual, there is shown a triangular shape left, fitting somewhat with the Plat Map, and Hill's state the acreage is about 3/4 of an acre.
      graphic for visual presentation of text But, from the Patent info I see that claims the acreage to be 1.01 Acre so that is what I go with.
      graphic for visual presentation of text Location was inside the town of Elkton on Raven Hill, almost at corner of the lower street coming from the Elkton Mine area and towards Eclipse Gulch, just before road dips down to cross the M.T. tracks. Hard to tell if it is the Discovery Shaft or a secondary shaft they dug as the Plat Map only has the Discovery Shaft.
