General notes:
Part of a 4-lode Plat Map with a combined acreage of 20.35 Acres. The Plat Map shows an intertangled mass of claims, but the part that I read as belonging to Violet Lode on Plat Map shows that it shares ground with two other claims of same owners.

The Discovery Shaft is 155 feet northwest of the east endline, with two more Shafts seen north of the Discovery Shaft in ground that is only this lode claim. There are two more Shafts further north, in a part of ground of the claim that overlaps part of the Sans Pareil claim, so those 2-Shafts might belong to either claim.

One of those Shafts might show as a Prospect Shaft on the 1903ish USGS topomap, while that USGS topomap also shows a Shaft in this area that might be either the Discovery Shaft of the Violet, or another Shaft on the Plat Map, or, a totally different one, impossible for me to tell for sure.

Southeast this claim overlaps part of the Loughrey claim, where the Discovery Shaft is part of this overlapping area. There is second Shaft just south of the Discovery Shaft, together with a Trench in same area.

Further west of the Discovery Shaft there is a Cut, and much further west I see a second Cut and a third Cut marked out, plus a Shaft in a piece of ground lost out to another claim not belonging to this company, called Carnival.
