A few sets of lessees are doing all the work at present on the Lucky Cuss at Victor. The new machinery has been installed, but is apparently to lie idle until word is received from England.
The annual meeting of the company was held in London lately, but what action was taken, has not yet been learned. It is understood that the meeting was to decided whether the property is to be operated under the leasing system, or by the company itself.
Superintendent Henderson is now in London, where he went to attend the meeting.
