Trilby & Ben Harrison Lode Claims Changed Owners
Denver.—The Trilby and Ben Harrison lode claims, on Bull Hill, owned by the Moose Gold Mining company, have been transferred to L. F. Mearkle, P. Montgomery and J. C. Corning of Pennsylvania by J. B. Glasser, vice-president of the Moose company.
The new owners will at once put the property in shape and begin extensive and active operations. One of the plans to be carried out is the erecting of a new and up-to-date 100-ton daily capacity cyanide mill on the south end of the Trilby claim, to treat the large quantity of low-grade ore which is known to exist in the mine.

Trilby Mines Co. Report by General Manager Stewart
The report of General Manager Stewart of the Trilby Mines Co. to the shareholders, setting forth conditions in the main workings of the Trilby mine, show a most satisfactory condition. Immense ore bodies have been developed in all levels from the fourth to the thirteenth, and by computation the ore in sight is valued at $750,000, awaiting treatment at the company's mill, now in successful operation.
Those ore bodies are of great width, the shoots in the tenth level measuring 40 ft. across, the eleventh level shoot is 60 ft wide and in the twelfth level this ore body has been opened for 500 ft. This ore, classed as milling grade, carries an average value of $8 a ton in the tenth level, $12 in the level below and $9 in level 12.
Two ore shoots have been developed in the deepest level. No. 1, 64 ft. from the shaft, is 4 ft. wide, and the average value is close to 4 ozs. gold or $80 a ton. The No. 2 shoot in the same level is 12 feet wide and is of milling grade.
During the last year the main Trilby shaft was sunk another 100 ft. in addition to about 1,350 ft. of drifting and upraising.
