Lessees all over the camp are doing a flourishing business. A shipment from the Twin Sister property also on Bull Hill, netted the lessee $30 per ton.

Denver, Col.—Word comes down from Cripple Creek that "Moose" Smith, who secured a lease on the Twin Sisters three months ago and opened a vein at the surface, has, after sinking to a depth of 125 feet and making a short crosscut, broken into some very rich ore.
It is believed that Smith has disclosed the black manganese streak that years ago in adjoining mines produced mineral of fabulous value. Those who have inspected the find see evidence that the dyke which is being mined in the Jo Dandy, Cresson, Gold Sovereign and Trilby traverses the territory in which the Twin Sisters is located.

Strike of Ore.
A strike of ore is reported on the Twin Sisters claim, which is being operated by J. E. Smith. The ore was encountered at a depth of 80 ft. and enough has been broken for a shipment, the returns from which should be better than an ounce.

A lease was recently given on the Twin Sisters claim on Raven hill to J. O. Darnell. This property adjoins the Sheriff mine.

James Ricketts and Sam Balfour, leasing on the Twin Sisters on Raven hill, which adjoins the Sheriff, have opened a good ore shoot 30 ft. from surface.
