City View Shaft Down 300 Feet
CITY VIEW.—This property, on Gold Hill, worked under lease, gives employment to 14 men. The shaft has been sunk 300 ft. At the 250-ft. level two cross cuts are being driven east and west to the boundaries to thoroughly prospect the ground.

The west crosscut looks encouraging, small seams from one-half to one inch of telluride ore being met every four or five feet. It is thought they are but feeders to a main vein in that district.

City View Lessee De Witt Produced Several Hundred Tons of Good Ore
Alliance Mining Company.—The City View, on Gold Hill, owned by this company, has suspended work temporarily since October 5th.

The lessees did several hundred feet of development on this property and shipped considerable ore, but apparently not enough.

The De Witt lease on this property never yielded as much, or so rich ore, as this week. During the past 30 days the lease has produced 200 tons of ore, which averaged $75 per ton.
